I wanted to upgrade my tank from a 70 lite to a 125 l juwel rio. I bought a 2nd hand one and seen a few small spiders and thought nothing of it. Then When I filled the tank up with water there must have been about 70 -80 little spiders coming out of filter together with the mother spider. I removed all the spiders and then switched the filter on and then the filter kept spluttering out spider webs and all the water has gone cloudy and spider webs all over the tank. I have a few chery barbs and juli corys and have done numerous water changes but there has been little improvment on cloudiness and spider webs still coming out of filter. Will the spider webs harm my fish? All the rocks and plans are covered in them.
Any suggestions on what i should do???

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Is the tank cycling.
Remove the webs with a net.
Also add loads of filter floss or mating to the filter it removes fine particles from the water.
Didn't you steralise the filter before you used it.
Don't mean steralise the sponges if the were mature.
