Holy cow that's one big nest!

I'm just thinking of all those jars you're going to need in the future

i actually dont know how many fry there are going to be. a lot of eggs didnt hatch and probably wont, so im guessing a max of 50 fry. he is just tryin to show off with the nest..its getting bigger.

i yanked the male. fry are doin good i counted 60 plus on one side alone. alot in plants and alot in nest still. 100+ fry i would guess. GROW BABIES!

thats what the male is busy with, makin sure i work to know how many fry i have. it covers about 1/3 of the tank. i think he wins the bubble nest contest.
Holycow! You are the winner of the bubbles nest contest!!!! :hyper:
Congratulation to you!! You got babies!!!:) Are you ready to raise the babies yet? They are very tricky! :) If you have nothing, egg yoke to start with. :) Microworm is great if you it in hand. 5 days later you can tried brine shrimp. If they eat it, you be in real good shape. Makesure to suck the bottom good everyday. :) Add aged water that been condition.

thanks for all the info yeeva, yup i got all the foods. i got micros, vinigar eels, and premixed bbs. i even bought about 5oz of non mixed eggs with a 90% hach rate. so i think im ready. after they are completly free swimming i will start water changes on day four. right now it is semi clean. and i have jars waiting in my closet. in spongebobs words "IM READY"

spawn turned out a failure, all fry died from a mysterious larvae in the tank. im conditioning and trying again in two weeks.

dropping pressure is raining, raising is warming up.

the bettas like the drop in pressure, so when i opened the door it suddenly dropped stimulating a rainy day. see now?

the fans push air around, and the towel keeps it pressurized, hard to explain but it works.

I dont know what kind of larvae infant, i bagged some and some of the people at my local betta club are going to try and identify them. ill get back to you.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Interesting what larvae are they. How you get those thing in your breeding tank? Did you put too much thing in there? Less thing in the breeding tank is better for the new hatching frys. Food is the most important thing you add into the tank. Others is only to put in when they are about 3 to 4 weeks old. :)

i put in some plants for hiding. my next spawns are going to be with no plants and and only an ornament. it will be same pair, and then also a pair of yellow x non red. cant wait to get started.

Good. I also put nothing in the breeding tank now. Less is good and easy to take care of the babies. :p
