spawn failed...next up

well the 2nd spawn from my 2nd spawning attempt didnt' work out at all. I couldn't figure out why, but now i don't know what to do i removed the male and feamle and put them both in their recovery tanks, now i'm thinking..if i cross a dt and a ct, what will i get? assuming that the ct deosn't carry the dt geno.

Should i just wait a bit and then try the original pair again, in hopes that maybe the first time around they just didn't know what the hell they were doing? or maybe i should try the dt x ct pair?

any advice? i'm really curiosu to what you'd get when you cross a dt and a ct...i know you wont' get any dts in the first generation, but will you get crowntails?

Maybe they just don't like each other maybe you'll get a dt ct lol that'd be like awesome

I'd try both ideas, you don't want to leave two breeding quality bettas not breed. Also, that mix would be very interesting. What colors are you mixing?

well the dt and the ct...the dt is a blackish coloring with red butterfly pattern, the ct is a blue and red dr ct (female)

if i corss the ct and the ct...the ct is a dark blue with red ventrals, or a blue and red mix.the female is the same.

So what do you guys think?

2) Tried to breed him, failed he didn't wnat to build a nest

3) Tried to breed him after #2 failed, failed becuase he didn't want to build a nest either

that's the crappiest picture on the planet, but she's a ct i swear! lol.

anyways, after trying to breed #2 and #3 to this feamle (they both failed), i want to try the dt now. But will i get some really weird fry, or should i try again with #2 or #3?
