These guys are gorgeous, and I’ve wanted some for a long time…

These have been tank mates, likely litter mates… if they turn out as a male and female, and try to take over the tank, hopefully I’ll have the next tank ( also South American ) ready and I will move one… both have the blue sheen, one is pretty good, one is exceptionally good looking… they are totally buddies right now

This tank has really come along nicely… this is the same tank, In the “strange grey water” thread… next are a couple shoals of small tetras, then just need the plants to grow in ( I have more red root floater’s coming as well )

Wow, these guys are camera shy… this tank is full of fish ( really )

Out of curiosity, what was the advice? I'm guessing keeping two angels together or with tetras... but since I haven't read the thread, they're only guesses :)

And I love the patterning on them, by the way

Mostly about group sizes and tank sizes and tank mates… these were mail order fish, so I was rolling the dice, but came from a very reputable seller, and were actually very reasonably priced

I see two competitions for you to enter.
December FOTM featuring cichlids
and a future FOTM contest
