Some vacation photos

I just went with my parents for a short vacation down in Oregon. We have relatives down there and went down for a very quick family reunion. I got a few nice scenery shots and such, so I thought I'd share. This is the first time I've actually taken the digi somewhere.

Bear with me, there is quite a few! Here is a shot from the drive there, right before we took the bride to Oregon. I present, the Columbia River!

Here is another shot that probably sucks to most of you, but I'm darned proud of it. This was taken as we drove along the bridge at a good 55 mph, out the dirty car window, from the opposite side of the car! SO HA!

Alright now it's the next day, and we're crabbing. Rented a boat, pots, and bait, and we're across a different river setting up "camp". Here's "the boys" starting our fire! That's my uncle on the left, then my dad walking away, and cousin in front.

Forgot to mention.... I literally burned the soles of my feet climbing up these dunes to get this pics for y'all. Yeah I know, barefoot brilliance.

The first of two crabs we caught. Yippee! He was a mean sucker... I'm just sad I didn't get to eat him. Too many people for only two crabs!

Check out what we used for bait in one of our pots! BIG fish head!! I was trying to figure out what kind of fish it was, still dunno. Was cool to get to look at the gills and everything up close though. Even though he was gross...

A shot from the boat of a bunch of horses on the beach. There were two foals with them, that was cool!! And I'm proud of my photography from a rocking and speedy boat, haha.

Last but not least, here is my 9 year old cousin Timmy, on "Tim's Isle"!! It was quickly disappearing though.. he had to jump off right after I took the picture. His island was destroyed by a "tidal wave!"
