Some Pleco Advice Please

Hi,

I am looking for a plec for my new tank, 4x2x2 400l, current stock is; 8 corys, 10 neon tetra, 3 cherry barb, 2 golden barb, 4 danios, 2 chinese algae eaters. I have been told to go for an L204, what types will go with my current setup? Also I guess I would have to be careful with max size of the fish?

yoiu could have lots of different types in that tank

just off the top of my head L128 or L200 - both beautiful fish quite readily available
L264 one of my favourites

not sure where your based but check out bristlenose.co.uk, got a few nice sized plecs would easily go in there, i got some beautiful l134 of the guy, highly recommended!

royals are about £20-£30 for averaged size fish
L200-l128's about £30-£40 by me
L264 I;ve only seen once for sale I paid about £20 but he was ace

Before getting a BN make sure it's safe with those Chinese algae eaters which grow to nasty 8in predators and will compete with the BN for food, territory and caves
