I suggest you have a look at your water quality if you have fish suffering from fin rot before accusing other people of not looking after their own fish... ;)

I never said it was I said it looked like it. I was mearly making an observation based on what I saw...not accusing, maybe you shouldn't get your feathers ruffled so easy, if nothing is going on. :dunno:

The white fish (plural, there were 2) I had that had it..happened while I had the flu and no one would do my WC's for me...thanks for tring to be a SA though ;):).

And persoanlly, I don't see how a fish chewed off his own dorsal fin, but whatever. lol Since you can't ask people questions without getting your own head "chewed" off...I guess it's possible.

Well, i suggest next time you make an 'observation' you say it in a less offensive way than 'your water looks a bit..um..'

I've had flu before and managed to do my water changes  What an excuse ;)

And he didn't chew off his dorsal fin :/ Im not sure exactly why you circled that because thats how it was when i bought him, the end of that, and his ventrals have always been clear, as has the very end of his caudal, but he chewed off the white bits as well so now its all grown through clear.

I hope that clears it up for you

And thanks to everyone for the comments on my bettas! :D They're cute little guys

See, that's all you had to say. I simply saw something in the pic and made an observance..to clear it up that's all you had to say..not jump down my throat because you don't like how I word things. Sorry, I wasn't aware we had to word things a certain way around here. My bad.

And, well..maybe the reason I couldn't change the water...might be because 95% of my fish stay in my office at work..not at my house. :) (oh and ..not all strains of the flu are the same btw;))

But regardless your fish are nice...and I'm trying to be.
