We got around 10" over the weekend. Being a terrier Kazimer loves to dig. Don't ask me how he can breathe with his face packed with snow, it doesn't seem to bother him a bit. Being 7 months old this is his first experience with any amount of snow. He would live out in the yard with the snow given the chance.

Nothing like a good romp in the snow, I love it, such a cute lil' snowy face!
I wish we humans could express our joy the way dogs do, the world would be a lot happier!

What a happy puppy!

If only my cats felt the same way, I took them outside and they did their best to keep all four paws off the snow at the same time. After several pitiful wails I rescued them, poor kitties they're just too spoiled.

Thanks everyone! He really is a fun, well behaved dog, acts like a typical 7 month old pup when outside, and like mama's little baby when watching tv. I can't remember having a terrier this well behaved at this young of an age, and I've had a few over the years.

Here's a quick pic of him waking up Christmas morning. Yes, he does smile.

We went on a little adventure later in the day, to visit my Dad at the nursing home. I was a bit apprehensive as to how he would react to so much commotion, medical equipment, wheelchairs & such, but we have been exposing him to every situation we can think of since we got him. He acted like a perfect gentleman, he's a real people oriented little dog, and all the residents loved him. My Dad would keep him there if he could hide him, and I'm sure he's thought of several ways, all of which would end up with him getting caught.

I was thinking of doing a little earthdog work with this guy, with his temperment he may be more suited for therapy work. Either way we're going to have fun.

While I'm sure the earthdog work would be fun, I'd go with the therapy work, it would be interesting for him and do wonderful things for the people who meet him. I've worked in a nursing home before and saw first hand what a difference an animal can make.

His full name is Kazimeras, it's Lithuanian for "The Great Destroyer". So far he has destroyed some twigs in the yard, a stuffed squeaky, and pulled a little stuffing out of his bed. Oh so destructive, I've accidently broken more things since we got him.
