Snails

I keep finding snails in my aquarium and I don't know where they've come from!! How do I get rid of them...every time I look there is more of them?? If salt is one of them, I can't use it because of my plants.

they hitched a ride in on your plants. loaches will eat them, that would work in your tank. not sure really how to get rid of them otherwise though......

I don't know if there is some sort of pesticide for 'em, but you can keep them at bay, by taking them all out, and as soon as you see more, out with them too. A single snail left behind will multiply, but it's more of a persistence race!

You can get a product that makes them fall a sleep(only affects snails) then you vac them up. I used a product that’s called snail away...that seems to do the job(kills them) but the fish are boring as hell for a few days!

Before I put new plants in a tank I dip them in a strong aquarium salt & sail away solution to kill them eggs off....
