How long does it take from being out of the water before snail eggs can't hach anymore?
we have a slight snail problem in the 55g, and i noticed today not only had the snail eaten/destroyed a good portion of my dwarf lily leaves but had also laid eggs on it to. figured i could solve two problems, i clipped off the leaf, pulled it out, and threw it away. now i am worried the eggs will still be vialable in the trash and oh that could cause problems.
i doubt they will come marching out of the trash, but it would ease my mind if i knew the eggs only lasted alittle while or to find a better way to make sure the eggs are dead. Thanks!
