Without fail, every snail I put in this tank meets the same end. They seem fine for a little bit, then almost seem to look paralyzed. These pictures are of rams horns I added last night. They ate a bit of spinach, and then slowly started dying like the other snails I have tried in the past. The fish that are in there are doing well. Parameters:
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite:0ppm
Nitrate: 10ppm

Do you not have any substrate? What size tank is it and which filter do you have please? You've done very well to get 0 ammonia after 2 months

Is it a new tank or did you buy it used? This sounds like a tank that was treated with a copper based medication for fish. If so it can stick around for a long time and kill snails and shrimp.

The tank was bought brand new. There is substrate, gravel. (I had moved it too the other side of the tank when I added in the snails.) it’s a ten gallon, running on sponge filters and a little internal one I added in because it has cycled media in it.

Where's the cycled media come from?

Struggling to suggest the cause I'm afraid.. same temp in both tanks? Recent water changes on both?

Temp was two degrees difference, I just acclimated them slowly to the new water. Both tanks had been cleaned the week before.

Both tanks cleaned? Cleaned how?

How often do you feed spinach? What else do you feed them?

I don’t feed spinach very often, maybe once a month. They eat just about everything. Algae wafers, cucumbers, green beans, etc.
Just redid the entire tank, and still no luck with the snails... and it’s happening with another tank. 20 long, added happy fish, but the snails are just struggling. I can’t figure it out.:/
