Snail advice

Hi im looking for advice, I'm going to be taking my rabbit snails to lfs tomorrow and I'm wondering could I catch them tonight and leave them in a bag floating in my tanks? The reason is they mostly become active at night so I need to catch them then.

Catch them and put them in a bag tonight, but replace the water in the morning when you wake up and again before you go to the shop.
