So many beautiful-to-be new bettas being bred on the forums the past few days!

Managed to get a video of Smudge and his babies last night, if you watch closely you can see him picking up 1 naughty fry who doesn't want to stay in the nest
The rest of the fry are the teeny tiny black bits in the nest

they do, although not as much now will have to get a vid of them

Daddy has now been removed. Apple snails added to keep the bottom clean and they have had their first micro work feed

Babies seem to be doing great at the minute, still no idea how many there may be but seems smaller than my first spawn.
They are now 1 week and 3 days old
They are feeding on microworm and newly hatched BBS.
Ill get some pictures of them tonight as I seem to have abandoned this topic

Thought I best update this seen as though I have totally neglected it.

The fry are 3 weeks old today and seem to be doing great, growing so much quicker than my first spawn did.
They were moved from a 25L tub to a 40L tank on Saturday, very difficult and had to syphon some of them out, all are fine though

Lost 2 up to now that I know of. With my first spawn I was finding 2-3 dead each day for a good few weeks.
