:hyper:  :S

Great pics

Skydiving is very close to the top of my "do before I die" list, just need to lose a bit (lot) of weight or get hold of one of them chutes they use to drop landrovers with

Nutter ! :hyper: (kidding). No money in the world could make me hurl myself out of a plane. But I've spoken to several people who just can't stop raving about it.

Fantastic piccys, How long have you been doing it?

Bloo... I'll be working up slowly...

Milton Keynes now has a pair of the air tube things...
and I got a voucher for xmas :)

Smith...where do you get all this free time? First you build a fish shed, then snowboarding, and skydiving. You simply have way too much fun! :D What do you do for work? BTW...skydiving looks crazy fun. How many times do you have to go before you can jump alone? I've only been bungee jumping, not enough adrenaline. Skydiving is definetly the next step for me. Although I do know a guy who's shoot didn't open and he fell 1000 ft into a cornfield then bounced 30 feet back into the air! And he's still alive. :X But nonetheless it still sounds like loads of fun.

If its any consolation we're not going boarding this year.... a conservatory is on its way in the summer instead :)

Milton Keynes is a great place to live - there is so much to do :) the snowdome will be getting some attention from me soon I think.

great pics. i'm very jealous, you obviously do a lot of it looking at the formation pics etc..

i've done a couple of tandem jumps from 14,000 ft. best feeling in the world. i'd go every day if i could afford it. thanks for sharing i wanna jump again now, maybe when the clouds disperse in a few months.

you are absolutely crazy, u would never ever find me jumpin outta a plane, never not for all the money in the world!!!!!!! put me on any theme park ride and ill love it, but with nothing attached apart from a few 'strings' uh oh, no way.

but well done to u for doing it. nuts!!!!!!

Lou x

Great pics!! I've always wanted to try that, but think when the time came someone would have to push me outta the plane cuz I'd be too scared lol

Looks like a TON of fun though!

thats exactly what my girlfriend did. i made her go first so she couldn't chicken out. in a tandem jump you are strapped to the belly of an instructor and kind of hang there. when the time came she was crying, shaking her head violently (lots of noise in a plane with the door open so screaming is pointless) the instructor lifted her off her feet and threw himself out. i must say i was taking the pee a little when we landed but she was a brave girly in the end. once she got down she almost went straight back up again. it's totally different to what you'd expect, no falling feeling at all really after the first 2 seconds. it's more like flying.

Nice try to convince us - but it really won’t work ;) I get violently ill just doing those bouncy things where they strap you up and bounce up and down on a trampoline :S

LOL wimp ;)

no time to feel sick, your brain blacks out the first bit anyway so you wont remember the first second anyway. not joking either apparently it's quite normal.

brain says WTF.. sod this i'm shutting down. i can remember the second jump but not much of the first one.

edit: sorry skidive sonic i didn't mean to ramble on in your thread.....

They have spent SOOOO much money keeping planes and the people in it up in the air....so why jump out of one? Ha ha....

I get car sick when I am not driving just on a 5 minute drive to the store.....I have been tested and apparently have very sensitive otoliths (balance thingies) in my ears....

Wow, that looks like a blast. I only do static line jumps at night from 1000 ft. with the occasional helicopter day jumps. I will have to find some helo jump pictures and post them on here for everyone to see. Thanks for sharing!!

I've also did a tandom skydive from 10,000 feet and it was amazing!!!

I get sick when i travel on a bus, when i go on rides at fair gorunds etc, yet skydiving was a totally different feeling.

You dont feel like your falling, all you feel is the air rushing past you. Kind of like sticking your head out of the car window when travelling at 120mph. Your stomach doesnt go queesy at all !

I'd love to do it again, but its too god dam expensive. £350 for 1 jump!!

Paul
