Hey,

I know oscars grow bery large and dont presently have one but i was just wondering what sort of tank size is required for an adult?

75 gallons, because the depth of it is 18", which is longer then the Oscar. Some people will recommend 55 gallons, but with a depth of only 12" this is shorter then an adult Oscar, and obviously not appropriate.

^ ditto

it might be better to get 100 gal or more as its nice having to oscars in the tank, makes it a bit more interesting to watch :)

I rased a bunch in a 50 gal. they aren't as long as a 55, but a lot wider, about the same depth. the oscars ( 5 ) got huge
