Signs after spawning

How do you know if the fish have spawned?

I have two gouramis in my ten gallon, and I'm not sure if they've bred. The last tie I bred them, the female hid in a corner after the breeding. Now, the male has a huge nest and is attacking (not quite visciously) the female. She, however, isn't hiding under the plants liek last time.

I don't want to separate them before they breed, though, so does anyone have definitive clues?

if they have bred u will see the female isnt huge with eggs also look very closely at the nest and u will see eggs

The thing is, though, that she never seems huge at all. She has a slight bulge in her body, but that's it. She has been in the tank with the male for over 2 weeks, with conditioning and whatnot, so I presume that she is laden with eggs, but to what degree I don't really know.
