can i have shrimps in my community tank i thought i could but went to two different fs yesterday and both said no they will get eaten and wont be there after a week

i have in my 75g now
white clouds
pleco
guppies
raphael catfish
corys
platys
ram

any thoughts i was thinking cherry shrimp :shifty:  :good:

bit of a risk with cherry shrimp tbh, the cherries are very small. the raphael catfish and the ram would be the possible culprits. i would think you'd be ok with the slightly larger amano shrimp though

How big is that tank on that table

and make sure you create lots of hiding places :D

My amanos do fine with getman blue rams. I wouldn't try cherries though, too small.

I have cherries with my blue ram and clownloachs and they are fine :good:

Theres loads of hiding places though

Right, maybe if you were just setting up and the shrimp could breed into the hundreds(with LOADS of hiding places) that would have been a better option. At this point, you would do better with amanos.

put on some glasses and a fake beard then go into the shop and tell them you want shrimps for your shrimparium
