Showin off my Zoo

Too bad you are so far from me. I would adopt a kitten in a heart beat. One of my rescue kitties disappeared a couple of weeks ago and my daughter is heartbroken. However, they are so adorable you will have no problems at all finding homes I am sure. I love cats that have lots of white on them. Keep up the good work.

On a side note, before my husband and I got together he had 17 cats at one time. Yes that is not a typo 17. Most were kittens as he had a couple of females that weren't fixed. He placed an ad in the local paper for free cats and all but the 2 he was keeping were gone in 2 days. And he kept getting calls for a week afterward. There were 2 pregnant cats at the time and they were even taken.
Wow 17 at once. I bet his heart broke everytime he found one a home. :byebye: I am not looking forward to that day either. I wish you lived closer too. You would make a great mommy :D

BTW your babies in your signature are sooooo cute too
Thank you! My world revolves around them :D

Awwww that picture you added of Spike is so precious, what an ADORABLE doggie bed!

I'd love to have a kitty, but my birdie girl Dawn is out of her cage all day every day and while I trust the dogs with her (though won't leave them unsupervised together), I'd be afraid of a kitty's natural instincts kicking in. I've read the saliva of a cat is very toxic to birds, even petting a cat that has been grooming itself and then handling a bird can prove fatal to the bird.

But who knows, perhaps someday I'll have a kitty or two.. or three.. ;)

*edit: Woops, guess that's not a dog bed. Well Spike thinks it is! :D
LOL...I know you can't help but having your world revolve around animals. The couch was my girls couch. We got it for them since we were afraid they would fall of our regular couch. Well, now they are on the big couch, and Spike found his new bed!
BTW we had a parakeet with Mr. Kitty. We got the bird first (actually we had 4 birds, but 3 died of old age) He was in a room all his own. Unfortunately he had to be moved. We put him on top of our refrigerator, thinking he would be safe. Sadly we were very wrong. Mr. Kitty jumped on the fridge and pushed the birds cage straight to the floor. I ran downstairs and found the cat jumping up an down on the cage, with the bird freeking out big time. The bird was fine thank god and lived for another 2 years. He was 17 when he died :byebye: We came to the conclusion there is just no good way to keep cats and birds together. We moved the birdie to a bedroom, and the cat stayed where he was
