Should I remove the bio balls and ceramic balls in place for my new fission protein skimmer?

I would but thats a personal choice, they can become nitrate traps if they arent properly cleaned regularly.

Glad you decided to sell the Tang btw, very mature choice and best for the fish, its nice to see people caring for livestock rather than what they want in their tank.

Actually before I could sell him he got aggressive to my Chormis, so I gave him to the fish store... no store credit =/
