she started to give birth at 8.30pm By 2.30am she had 84 fry cheeked again in the morning she had another 57 giving a total of 141 fry.
Ooh thanks for the tip, I'll muster up the courage to ask lolTry finding a lfs that will take your excess fish before you start. Maybe even ask em what colour/type are most desirable and try specialising. @emeraldking would be the man to ask.
If I ever get my triple species tank off the drawing board I’m hoping to turn the community tank into a guppy one.
Oh my God when I tell you I squealed, I mean I squealed! Those are adorable! These are a few i found yesterday, was not even free swimming at the time
They really do look like that!! Baby guppies and albino bristlenoses have united in a strange union of looking like little aliens! My 5 yr old calls them baby aliens ?
How long is a piece of string? How many guppies would you say can fit into a tank before it's considered "overcrowding"?
Ooh I like that saying. Reminds me of my old English teacher lol.How long is a piece of string?
I started with 2 males and 4 females in a 10 gallon 2 years ago, I now have 3 tanks full of very colorful guppies...A tank of little baby guppies is sounding rather adorable to me right now. Since I'm very new to fishkeeping I've never bred fish before, but it seems easy enough for guppies.
What sort of tank should I use if I plan on breeding them? Right now I've got a 54L/14 US gallon 2ft wide, 1ft high tank sitting around in my room collecting dust, would this be an appropriate tank for breeding?
And do you need the tank you're breeding them in to be well planted/decorated? My current male guppies never really pay the bogwood or caves much mind at all, so is much decoration necessary aside from a couple of plants?
(one of my first males, ended up dying when we did the first water change ?)

That emoji is too hilarious! And yes, that is a good thing to watch for in a smaller tank.Ooh alright, I'll definitely watch out for that
