hello out there

well i think i have gone a bit mad!

1st off, i got 4 sliver sharks, 5 neons and 1 pec (spelling)

then i thought i would get a red tail shark, a gold shark,a angelfish and 6 female guppies and 2 males

the angel fish died and so did a guppy so i took them back and there would not excahnge for any other fish so i had to get the same

3 neons have gone missing, a guppy was died before i left the house and the sliver sharks swim mad around the tank

have i mixed the tank wrong

also i have snails in there too, only little ones but were did there come from?

That's what Silver Sharks do!.......

'swim mad around tanks!!!'

What is the tank size?

Well anyways, you need a very large tank for silver sharks. They get to over a foot each. Plec is probably a common, again over a foot. In all, you have the worst choice possible, as I find it unlikely your tank is the size needed for tese fish.

A long time ago when I got my first tank (late 70s) I had Neons, 1 angle fish, guppies, and algea eaters. I went to the LFS and saw a Red Tailed Black Shark, COOL, bought it. It ATE everything but the Angle, never did that again!

nothing i can do then? wont there just live? i got fooked over at the pet shop then wrong advise by the bloke there :( :(

you probably didnt give the guy in the lfs the correct information :grr:

is your tank really 4ft by 4ft??????

Did you cycle this tank beforehand and how many gallons is it?

So its 4 feet long and 4 feet wide in a square shape?
