The fish that are the problem there are the Knife fish and the Leopard Plec both large growing fish, it dosen't look over stocked to me. Personally I would move the Knife fish or the Plec and get some more Discus. I am planning on buying one, two or three Discus for my 180L South American tank and that is alot smaller than yours, although it dosen't have any monsters just one Angel and a shoal of Tetras that inhabit the main water levels all the others are normally hidden.

Did you buy a pair of Dicsus or just two seperate ones of the same size?

Hi ryan, I have been thinking of loosing the Plec, But I do think he does a grand job of cleaning the tank  Certainly no chance of waste food in my tank with him about nor algae! But he is a bit of a monster (about 6" now) I don't know if he'll grow much bigger?

As for the Ghost Knife he's certainly no Monster. He's only about 3" and grows very slowly.

As for my Discus I got them as a pair, One is slightly bigger than the other, One doesn't grow to well because he won't eat his veggies :sly: he only eats meats like beefheart and blood worm. So he gets fed less.

I think by Leopard Plec you mean Gibbicep Plecs which grow very fast reaching 12-24" and producing alot of waste. I'd try to find him a good home and buy a smaller plec species.

Hi guys, I didnt bother reading the 33 other replies in the forum so I'm sticking to the original question (the guy who asked doesnt have a sig with his tanks so i dont know if he's already got some more fish). I've got 2 Sev's with a couple of Acara's, 2 keyholes, and 3 clown loaches.
I'm not sure how the Acara's would go with the Angels but the Keyholes (which are actually damn cute little things once you've got them) and the Clown loaches would be absolutely fine. Especially the clown loaches. For some reason nothing attacks them, and they are as placid as anything you'll ever find. They can grow up to a foot long aswell if your patient (about 8 years patient) and will feed out of your hand when they get bigger. They're also very sociable with each other so you can (and in my opinion, should) get a few of them and they will get on great.

Getting off track here with the loaches but the local pet shop has a tank with 5 loaches in it, all different sizes, between around 3 inches and 8 inches long. The other day they'd were all lying under a slanted rock and had arranged themselves in order of size lol. Very cute :)
