Severums, Panda Cories & a Boesemani Rainbowfish

I really like the fish combination you have there, any chance of getting a whole aquarium shot?

Sure! I changed from gravel to sand a couple of weeks ago and completely re-aquascaped it as well. The water's a bit cloudy in this picture b/c I had just done a water change and stirred everything up

I'm really happy with how the tank has come together.

Cories - 2 pandas, a 3-line and the albino, by far the hardest worker in the tank!

I even have a one eyed cory! He had been at the lfs several weeks in a row so I figured he was in good enough health. The lfs let me have him for half price and he's been just great!

The Boesemanis were really flashing their colors for me this morning, but they are SO quick and are really hard to get good pics of.

Nice pix. interesting combo. That rainbow is a beauty. I didnt know you could keep rainbowfish with cichlids.

Maybe not normally, but my rainbows are far more aggressive than they're "supposed" to be. They have killed 3 turquoise rainbows and an angelfish and were starting in on my other angel. The lfs suggested the Sevs and I asked on here and no one said anything about why not so I went for it.

The rainbows have not picked on the severums, to say the least They're all getting along really well and one of the sevs now seems to think it's a rainbow

Just a bit of an update - the one sev definitely thinks it's a rainbowfish now The only downside of that is that I think they're ganging up on the other severum

Thanks Inchworm! Yeah, the cories LOVE the sand - I switched from gravel to sand just for them
