Setting up a nano-reef

30 gallon longs are hard to find where I live, and I decided on a 20L in the first place because I think that it is the right balance between cost and stability. Anything bigger would need more live rock, more sand and more lighting and the cost would be higher. Anything smaller would flunctuate a lot more.

EDIT: Just checking - if it says "high frequency ballast" I can be sure it is an electronic ballast right?

I found a "high frequency" ballast that will put out 36 watts over four tubes - if it is electronic that will overdrive any 18 watt 24" NO tube I put in there right? It's £32 which I think is a reasonable price.

Thanks again for all your help :*)

Does anyone have pics of a nano-reef. I have a 7 gallon tank right now. I have one live rock in it and then two fish. I am thinking about turning it into a reef. I am just looking for pics of other peoples to that i can get an idea. I just think that coral and anemonies are as cool as the fish taht are inside the tank so i want to get some.
