Has anybody seen this?

Just read about them in this months PFK mag and for £100 it looks great.

Its a aquarium monitoring system that takes 5,600 readings of your water a month and then sends the results (Temp, ammonia, Ph and light) to a computer or Apple device.

Current asking for people to sign up on their website www.seneye.com for the beta testing.

Strangely enough I seen that today on eBay and i want it :)

Or something familar

I did see that, but thought it was a bit overkill for my needs.

Suppose breeders & marine people with very expensive fish might find it useful though.

Oh, and ALL HAIL, HYPNOTOAD.

Personally I think its useful for anybody. It means test results are right in front of you and a history of it so you can see when things are going up or down and it means tests are no longer needed as much as its already done for you.

Its very tempting to me:)

possibly the funniest character from Futurama.

Agree that it's very convenient, and if it was £10 I'd snap one up. But at £100 it's too much of a luxury.

It's expensive but once you've bought it that's it, if know what I'm talking about :)

Thats the thing and it could end up paying for itself when you think a full test kit costs £30 a pop (I know they last a long time but this would technically last forever)

I'm two years into my API test kit.....and I'd say each has at least 50% left.

I'm going for it! Was about to buy a new Test Kit and Thermometer on eBay and foud one for £58 delivered.

waste of money, i'll pick one up on ebay in 2 years time once they have been proven to be good and if they are, no money lost.

How boring! Should arrive next week. Will post some feedback.

Bought my seneye home yesterday and overall on first impressions the quality of the kit is good. I am currently soaking my seneye+ slide in tank water but should be setting it up in the next hour so I will let you know what I think. It is going in my main 350lt discus tank with 3 flourescent tubes so the lighting par and lux figures should be interesting.

anyway heres to success!!

a bit of a waste of time seeing as you have to replace the slides every month for ammonia and other tests

a test kit will last longer
