Saw My Albino Cories Do A T Shape?

I think I saw my female and one of my male albino cories do a "T" shape. the female was one the long stem going down on the "T". after about an hour i still havnt noticed any eggs. how long until i should notice eggs? if there are no eggs yet did they not spawn?

In all honesty, you being at the front of the tank peeping tom'ing them is probably freaking them out while they try to ermmmm, get it on.

I find eggs after dark, like most.....

Maybe that's why my cories aren't getting nasty. I am always watching my fish lol

As far as the exact way the sperm gets together with the eggs, nobody knows yet.

Now, it should only take a few moments from the time the fish do the T-position until the time the female puts the eggs on the surface of her choice. Here are a couple of videos that show the process. Note that as soon as she pulls away from the male, you can see her carrying the fertilized eggs in her fins

They are all trying to get her attention but she is the one who picks the one she wants. After that batch of eggs is placed, they will try again and she might pick a different one.

Ha! i never see mine "at it". Seems to happen after dark and i get up and find a few eggs in the dwarf grass where they cant get them! The rest i assume are eaten before i get up!
