it shot across the tank about five minutes ago and my tetras ate it :-(
now what was it? my platies all hade there fry a week ago and it was too small for it to be from them. and my guppies had fry 1 day later then my platies so it couldnt be theres. the only fish that are left are my black skirt tetras and my corys. and my angel of corse but i only have one so it couldnt be from him. any ideas of what it was from?

well they just had fry a week ago and i put them in the breeder tank 2 days before they had fry and took them out 1 day after they were done. so unless they had new fry in 1 week lol i dont think it was them.

You would have noticed something if it was your corys or black skirts... you'd have noticed eggs on the glass if it was corys.. and the black skirts would have probably gotten quite fat

I reckon the best way to be sure would be to see the little fryguy, but if it's eaten, it's eaten.
Personally, I've never seen new tetra fry of any kind so, I don't know how closely they might resemble guppyfry, and I've seen plenty of surprise guppy fry. I've had them escape from breder boxes and turn up when I didn't think anybody should be pregnant. I have cory fry too, and they're different enough, I think you would be able to tell, even if you somehow missed the eggs. I never did anything special to encorage the cories to breed, and I imagine it's possible your tetras could think your tank is perfect for breeding, even if you didn't make it that way on purpose.
