Sap's And Birchirs

P. Bichir lapradei 18-24 inches adult size as to their commonality it seems to depend they have been fairly common in my area depending on the time of year. They are still wild caught in Africa and not farmed as some species are.

Farmed species include
P.senegalus (normal and albino) hence the low cost of specimens prior to farming an albino senegal would cost $100-!200
P.ornatipinnis
P.palmas polli
P.delhezi
P.endlicheri

The other species are wild caught in Africa as of this time-Anne

That's great. I no quite a bit about them but you can never stop learning. I think its great they are still wild caught. That gives keeping them just that little more special.

Yes Rixxy i think there are a lot of poly fanatics that come out of the woodwork when one is mentioned and they are so interesting with plenty of different variety.

So come on mods i think it would be worth while and please a lot of members.

Thanks.

Beblondie....Can i ask are all those tanks in your House

and what chances do i have of getting a 'Ansorgii'

What do you find is the best bottom covering for them. None, Fine gravel or Sand.?

Thanks

p.S I wish you where local but i think i would have to ride on the back of a Poly across the Atlantic to get there....Bit of a rough ride :fun:
