The only need a 3-5 G tank (Im going by UK G) And yes heater and filter is needed. A place to hide and some plants will do the job...

They can go into a tank with other fish but its not the best idea

4.5 liters in 1 uk gal.

For any conversions I find it easiest to use the aquarium calculator at the top of this page (right hand side). Like to see all the dimensions 200gals will be quite a lot of litres and obviously depends if using UK or US

When i move out ( im 14 now so in about 5 years ) im going to get a house i can afford, have a part time job doing something that gives a reasonable pay and live on my own rescuing fish then selling them when there in health i also want to breed them.
But until then i need to get my knowledge on fish to a higher standard, but i do love fish so much!
The parents wont let me have no more than my 2 tanks.
Ive always liked the idea of working myabe with a few friends who migth liek fish ( dont have any atm who like them ) and i want people to bring their fish to me to see if i can make them better, big responsibility i know lol!!

Yes Im glad he has made a good recovery so far. I did think that his fins wouldnt grow back because of the stat they were in. But they have so thats one good thing lol
