I added some salt to my fish tank last night to help me fight agianst ick.
I'm treating a 10gal hospitol tank.
I have 10 cichlids, and a Pleco in it.
How often should I add salt to my water?

Salt will not evaporate/dissapear, whatever, from the tank. The level will only go down when you change out water. So, it depends on how much you added already.

Are you aware that most people recommend that you do not use salt with plecos?

I don't know anything about cichlids, though. Good luck!

Plecos ought to be alright. They are scaled and are tough fish. So long as you don't overdose the tank, they should be fine.
