bloody hell 2 gals of evap a day??? must be 100 degrees C in your house or something. thats roughly 10 litres a day? my 100gal does that in a week

Heh, in the winter I do 1gal per day... In the summer with the hood fans and the A/C running It drains 3gal per day

If hydrometers can be calibrated it may need calibrated, i've never used a hydrometer before, i use a refractomenter which needs to be calibrated every now and again. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Hydrometers WILL drift over time and need calibration at least monthly IMO.
