the fish list prankster?....im not sure just yet, but when i decide it wont be long until i post some images :good:

i reckon this time next week will be first trim for r rotundifolia.

Dude; I am agape and agog. That looks fabulous. Wish I had the funds for this sort of thing. I think I can see the difference made by the opti-white glass even in the photos. Superb anyway. I look forward to the next photo session (your photography and your 'scaping skills are better than mine).

All the best from Bill.

thanks bill, very kind of you to say so.

you say expensive, but i found my hard scape materials were quite cheap. its just about searching. i had this tank in my head for 6 months at least, giving me time to get everything i wanted. sure the tank itself may be pricey, but it's only glass. a lesser aquarium don't mean a lesser scape. i cant recommend enough the process of buying as many plants as you can afford from the off. it pays dividends in the long run.

my stems, well at least r rotundifolia should be up for its first trim this weekend. the other stems (rotala sp green m umbrosum, and hm are not at the same speed as the other r rotundifolia. actually the m ubrosum is "crawling" like hc would do. maybe too much light. although because of its placement in the tank its not necessarily a bad thing....low and bushy. the mosses are greening up a treat too

Well, how did I miss this? That is ONE beautiful tank!!! :good: It shows hard work and creativity...you should be very proud of yourself!!!

a quick picture and up date,

heres an image 2 weeks in to the tanks life. showing the rotala sp green. the sp green was a slow sarter, but its now starting to grow at a quicker rate.

ive also added some blyxa. in general all plants are doing good, no signs of the dreaded green stuff. dosing EI and 2 mature filters helps i think.

i realy thank you all for your kind words, check back later for more updates.
