I have some questions regarding SAE, and whether they could (or should) fit into my tank
Are they loners or shoalers?
How big a tank? I have a 200L, well planted, is this even big enough?
Are they gonna be an issue with kribs? (I only have 2, they are not breeding  )
Will they demolish an infestation of brush algae? Or should i supplement feed them?

Thankyou so much if you can answer any of these questions :D

They do best in shoals, and when I last saw 10 in an 8 ft tank, they were actively schooling.

Volume does not help, it's the dimensions that matter :) I would personally want at least a 6*1.5*1.5 ft tank based on their behaviour when I have seen them.

Shouldn't be.

You will have to feed them, there are no fish that can survive in the long term without being fed. While there is algae present, you can feed them less than usual to encourage them to eat algae, but once it is reduced to low amounts, you should increase the feeding. They should have algae/veggie based foods as well as "generic" foods.

Thanks!
I guess from your reply that SAE prefer company ... and i dont see 10 of them in my little 200(its about 84cm (soz metric))
sorry to go off on a tangent, but this was regarding an infestation of black brush algae, that my former BN wouldn't touch
but thanks anyway :)

84 cm is quite short for a 200 litre! The only option I can see is getting 6 babies and taking them back to the LFS as soon as they've done the job.

yeah, it is acutally a really wide tank, compared to the length
but no, i don't really want to get a fish just to take it back, think i'll stick to bn's :)
thanks
