atison has done a lot for the "world of bettas" that you and i are part of.
if you don't like the fact that some people fight their fish so be it.
if you bothered to read his story you would see that he doesn't personally fight his fish. what people do with the fish is up to them.
he supports many, many small struggling fish farms by giving them a place to do some business.
he is very involved with the conservation of the wildtype plakat and in my opinion is to be commended for his efforts, not ridiculed and called horrible or a "sad site".

not saying that hes horrible, but saying that he mentions fighting fish, by saying that its going to make people go out and buy bettas and let them fight to the death. remember godric puffers brothers friends??? Thats why I think its horrible to mention fighting because some people like them will go out and do something horrible to those poor fish. I dont care at all about fighting in Thailand or places were they know what theyre doing, but in places like the US and canada were people have no idea at all what theyre doing and are just fighting the fish for fun or to win money is wrong. A place like that site that is talking about fighting is only giving people ideas that it is fine to fight bettas. And these people wil fight them to the death. I think that if he wants to have stuff about fighting on his site he should make it private so that some people that will do wrong to the fish cant see it and get ideas.

Thats great that he helps out with people and bettas and stuff like that. But some stuff on the site about fighting just isnt good for some people.

well, it is a difficult subject to defend as everyone has a different opinion, it all depends on your personal perspective.
i don't think i will say more on this subject.
