My EBJD died today. I watched it happen.

Very sad kid on my hands. She misses all the big fishies.

I'm not doing anymore big fishies.

Gonna fill my 75 with schools of small tropicals. All my tanks. Only big fish will be my common pleco.

Still have the peacock and convict in there...for now. The peacock is not doin very well. Convict is happy as a peach.

10 gallon gonna become an invert tank tho.

You had a common pleco, an electric blue jack Dempsey, a peacock bass, and a convict all in a 75 gallon tank? I honestly would seek to rehome the pleco and the peacock bass. Peacocks are basically monster fish and really need much larger than 75 gallon tanks. Common plecos are the same. You may have had water quality issues leading to the losses. Sorry it happened though.

The Electric Blue JDs, being from a recessive strain, are inherently very delicate. Most don't survive to adulthood, and have a sad tendency to just go. Sorry for your loss there.
