Same here - I'm hopeless at it. That's why I asked about this fella. I asked on Plecofanatics, they agree, Jim is a regular L190. Like I said, doesnt bother me!

Arghhh! There's no such thing as a "regular" royal plec! They're all magical! Beautiful, peaceful, hardy, and characterful. What more could you want from a pet?

Oooh I totally agree! I've not had one yet, other than the little dull eye which I've given to Kathy as he'll not grow quick enough to go in my big tank after all. So he'll be my first proper royal plec, he's beautiful, and I love him already! What I meant was he wasn't the Xingu that we thought he was, but that really doesn't bother me - as my tank's big enough for another, and I shall be keeping an eye out for one of the other species (maybe another dull eye or a watermelon, something a little bit different in looks) at some point I just wont get another 1.5" one!

Duncan's really cool, he's my favourite lfs employee of all the ones around here.

They're not the best place in the world for plecs but they do occasionally have some nice ones in. They're great for ordering stuff in though if your ever struggling to get hold of something

I absolutely love the Royals. They are such lovely plecs! Loving all your plecs guys!
