Rosy Barbs With Discus

are these ok with discus i can't use aqadvisor as it seems to be down was just wondering if anyone here could give any advice thanks

No, the temperature requirements are all wrong. Rosy barbs do best in temperate (or unheated) tanks, while discus need top end tropical temps.

By the way, if you have a look at what's been posted, you'll see that the name of the website you mentioned has been removed - our forum software does that automatically for us.
 
The reason for that is that the site you refer to is pretty poor quality, and we don't want our members seeing the name of it, heading over there to receive bad advice.

That's why we always recommend independent research apart from the LFS.  Certainly, all are not bad.  But there are sufficient bad ones giving enough bad information that its a safe bet to assume that when you hear something from the LFS its probably got about as much chance of being wrong as it does of being right.

I agree with ea. I very rarely go by what the lfs tell me now. You'd think that because they are getting paid to do stuff related to fish, that they would know some information that is correct, but apparently not, most of them are completely useless. Just ask on here from now on I reckon, you'll get correct info that way at least.
 
And the temp ranges are too far apart to be compatible. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
