Hello.

Went to a fellow members yesterday and picked up a pristine Roma 90 for £75, couldn't be happier.

Filter- All pond solutions 600lph internal
Heater- Jad 50watt
Substrate- Argos Play sand
Lighting- 2X15w GLO bulbs
Planned Hardscape- Mini aquascaping rock + redmoor wood
Planned Flora- Java fern + (suggestions welcome)

I am a little worried about the weight though. It's next to my roma 125 on the top floor of an old house (i hope it holds

).
Got a few pics of it today. I only had time to clean it but it should be full of water tomorrow and then comes the fun part. What are your opinions on the backgound? i'm a bit unsure.

Will be following this as my roma 90 is due a new scape and i'm all out of idea's.
Not sure on the background myself but it's hard to tell without something in there.

Oh yeah, i've got a roma 240 and 90 upstairs, slightly different walls and had no problems yet.

Phew, that's put my mind at rest.

I've just got to get a filter and then i can start scaping.:hyper:

so you're the one who beat me to eggos bargain? *shakes fist*
 Wasn't me, i bought it from Aquarist classifieds but then found out he's a member on here :shifty:

I have a Roma 90 and will be doing a rescape in November. I am going to aquatics live on 10th november for some inspiration!!!

I will follow your journal with interest!!!

Woo hoo. The hardscape arrived safe and sound and it's all in. It's still a bit cloudy, so i'll post some pics tommorrow when it's cleared and after i've fiddled about with it.
The wood doesn't look right to me, suggestions as to it's placement would be appreciated

Next is plants

Just got the chissel out and cut up an odd shaped rock, i'm now pleased, well, it looks a bit too symetrical, but i'll have a little fiddle again tomoz.
I've also adjusted the wood, but i'm still not happy

I decided to completely change it and go for a proper Iwagami
Still slightly cloudy-

Any suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry, i've got 2 more questions-
Is there any place in there for the wood, or will it look better purely as an Iwagama tank?

Would this piece of rock look better as the centre rock compared to the one thats currently there?

Thanks

Well, the plants are in and growing well, and the drop checker is showing a healthy, bright green.

1 qusetion. Whats the cause of the 2 brown leaves on the background plants on the right???

thanks

Obviously, the plant work isn't Iwagami style, but the rocks are. I think it'll look nice when it's grown in nicely.
