Okay, so I'm looking at a fluval roma 90 cabinet to hold my tank (which isn't a Roma 90, in fact i'm even sure what it is). Now the tank dimensions are the exact dimensions of the roma 90 cabinet. But my tank has plastic flashing at the bottom which would hang over the edge slightly (about 2mm). Given that the actual glass section of the tank would be sitting on the cabinet, I take it this wouldn't be a problem? My only other option otherwise is to build my own stand.

The plastic on the bottom of your tank is probably what creates the "floating base" on your tank. This is a very useful thing meaning that you don't need to put any polystyrene (sp?) under the tank to support the bottom of the tank and prevent cracking. SO I say get a stand that either fits the frame perfectly or is a little bit bigger. :good:

Ahhhh.... is that what it's for? And there was me thinking it was there to look pretty!
