Rimless Braceless Optiwhite™ 24X18X18 Build

Lovely photos, they don't look particularly yellow to me, but I'm used to tannic planted tank, so what do I know?

Sorry about the nem, from what I've read, sometimes clowns can be rough. How big is this tank? A 24x12x16 is 20g, so I imagine somewhere around that, maybe a little more?

Thanks. I hope the Nem will pick up, he seems to be atm. Its 24x18x18 so 34 US gallons.

you may not see the goby/shrimp pair often, i see mine during each eclipse or at spring tide lol

dont you think its a bit risky having that chippys flasher wrasse without a hood?

Well I can hope that they are still in there then. Maybe one day they will pop up, just thought I would actually have seen the Goby.

The wrasse without a hood is a bit of a risk but it hasnt been an issue yet and I hope it wont be. I am fully aware that it most likely will be one day though but fingers crossed.

I have tried but he wont accept food. He just doesnt take to it so eventually I have to take it out. Any ideas?

I have read that BTA's dont actually need feeding and will survive on just light.

They do much better if fed, cut up a prawn and drop it in his tenticals - once he has stopped mvoing for a few days :good: What colour is it James, it looks like the purple one i had?

Hi James,
I know it's a bit late to post on this thread but I was wondering how you are getting on with the tank.
It's exactly the set up that I have been looking for,I also have been looking at the ND Aquatics web site at that very same tank.Could you tell me why you didn't go with the advertised Durso system that they normally supply and also what were the diameters of the 3 holes you had drilled? Also did the tank come with a lid.
I would be very grateful if you could spend a little time to give me some advice on the tank build as I have never had a sump before.
Thanks
Rich

James the tank is looking absoultely ace! Really nice colours, those corals are awesome!

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you dose your tank with other than the Red Sea NO3-PO4-X ?
