Hi all.

After a long illness, I am finally able to care for my community tank again.  It's a planted, black sand 55 gallon.  50% planted and 50% wood pieces.
Here's a pic from earlier today.

Current inhabitants are two blue spotted gouramis, three black yellow neons, and four regular neons.

I am currently doing lots of water changes and including Prime, API Stress Zyme. and API leaf zone.

Looking for input as to how I should go about restocking.  I'd like to try Albino Corys again as well as a few livebearers (i do know about the 3 females to 1 male ratio), probably swordtails.  I also imagine that the numbers of both my current schools of tetras should be raised.

I love my Albino corys. I have 6 and they are quite interesting to watch. They will look great against the black sand in your tank.

You can also do all males if you don't want to deal with babies (for the swordtail) but I think it's a fun experience.

I like the sound of your stocking idea! And yes, I would up the tetra schools, cause it will not only be better for the fish but will look stunning. Schooling fish are SO beautiful in large numbers! The bigger the school the more beautiful they look. Especially when they shoal tightly. I have some neons with some bully serpaes and they always stay tight. It looks incredible.
