it’s been a few years since I had tropical fish, 2011 I believe, was previously on here as salts155 but couldn’t remember the email or password .
Well I’m back with a smaller 100L setup 3 day in and starting to stock.

The water was crystal clear till I put plants in ‍

Thank you, you guys help so much last time and was a great community to be a part of hence coming back.

not 100%sure on stock plan at the moment, want a nice community tank with lots going on really, few nice fish I’ve seen along with shrimps, do like my silver sharks but I’m thinking the tank maybe a little small.

got some 4 neons and a lamp eye in at the moment along with a pleco don’t want to spike it and wait till it’s cycled and mature. Never had much success with plants last time but trying again this time. I will get the hang of it

I'm quite sure you have soft water down there so you've a wide choice of fish to choose from!

With plants, id recommend using root tabs and a liquid fertilizer such TNC Lite

I would love to but I’m not home now till around 7 this evening so can’t get the verified photo of the tank, plus at the moment the waters gone a little cloudy so it’s not going to make good photos at all. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the time to enter tho

Yeah we have soft water down here and a wide choice to choose from. I do like mollies but they breed like rabbits

Ahh.. Mollies prefer hard water, of all the fish!

At the moment 2 are still in their original cadge pot thing. Want to get some established roots before setting the in my plants last time really did struggle and I made a C02 injection system

My mollies did really well last time and 30-40 fry out of them

Yeh plants can be picky about soft water too due to the lack of minerals so a liquid fert would definitely help, and root tabs for any root feeders like amazon swords and vallisneria
