She is beautiful I am glad you rescued her...I bet she is a joy to have I would like to nominate her for PoTM....     Good luck with a second nomination

 lovely photo of Keisha.......2nd nomination for PoTM

......and congratulations on your new family member :D

One of the things that helps adult dogs settle into new homes is to go to some sort of positive based training group.......not sure if you have a Canine Good Citizen type class in your area. This sort of thing helps to build the owner-dog bond and it also helps you to understand each other.

Do enjoy and have fun with your new 'best friend'

Congrats! :D

And KUDOS for rescuing a dog.

I don't know if you've ever rescued one before, but you will find they are THE most loving dogs in the world.

Many thanks for your nominations, :) and for the advice much appreciated. We have been given 2 free canine training lessons with the adoption so will be taking her to them, as at the moment she is digging our once decent garden up !!! she is settling in very well and already wags her tail and comes when we call her. Our last dog died sadly last month at 14 and is sadly missed.

How do I go about putting Keisha in for POTM? :dunno:

Hi 10016449

Keisha looks like she will be a great new friend for you.

Within the next few days, we will be posting a thread called "July POTM Nominations." When you see that, please post the picture of Keisha and a link to this thread on it. Then, when we make the poll for that contest, we will know just where it is.

Best of luck with your new pet. :D

Hi,

We were told she could be about 4, but we are not so sure, as a lot of people have said that they normally only dig up till about 2 -3 and boy does she dig!!
