i had gone round to a friends house and noticed he had an albino bristlenose in a 25 litre tank and 1 garra ruffa ,apparently hes had the bristlenose for 2 years in there , i told him the tank was way too small for these fish and told him to do his research in the end he said i could take them off his hands as he was getting sick of cleaning the tank (i told him he was lazy and not really into fish keeping if he couldnt be arsed cleaning a small tank). so im now the proud owner of 2 more fish which have gone in my quarantine tank for now and alls going well the garra ruffa has coloured up actually and is now a lovely brown with deep red colour fins and the plec is feeding well and even comes out for his pic , im trying to find out more on the carra ruffa but if anyone has any info please let me know thanks

arrayarra ruffa is one of those fish they use as a beauty treatment to eat off dead skin. I don't know much more about them but they are hardy.

Good job getting these guys to a new home. Before and after photos would be nice.

It was very nice of you to save them! Good luck! :)
