I saw a video of this a few weeks ago. I don't agree that beef heart is not good and liver is. If there is one thing I noticed about beefheart its that once you prepare it? Its like Tubifex worm in protein and fish that go for worms like Discus,Angels and Loaches..love beefheart. Most large predators also.
After many years I make it still with a small amount of gelatin,then freeze,and then to feed the fish I cook the squares I make of it ever so slightly in the microwave. Fish love it and I also feed them at other times shrimp or krill and Tetra flake foods along with an assortment of products.
I think i tried liver and it wasn't popular with the fish. A long time ago.
