Hi does anybody own a Rena Cor Heating Cable? if so i'm after some advice. i put a post in the hardware section, but its not getting any replies so thought i'd try here. sorry to double post, just want to find somebody who can help. if you own a 25w version please read my other post here
:thanks:

Hi
I bought one earlier in the year and if my memory serves me right mine didn,t have many suckers either. I used the ones they sent and simply taped the cable in position on the floor of the tank ,started to add the substrate from one end removing the tape as i went along. Just letting the weight of the substrate hold it in position work for me

Good luck

depending on its diameter you may be able to use the air line suction cups they sell in Pets at Home. Its 6 cups for about £3 - might work might not (can you tell I have my intelligent head on tonight  )

Finally got an email back from the seller today saying it had never been used and he thought it was all there so i guess its just Rena not providing enough.

Thanks for the ideas, will give that a try, its not much thinner than an airline tube so would probably do it. if not i can always use the airline clips to hold the airline for the co2 in place. if i cant get it to work or can't get hold of any then will have to go with the tape and substrate idea and hope i don't mess it up when planting
