Not sure if i can post that im looking to rehome my cats, but thought id post, and mods can contact me if a prob?
before i start typing, id like to just ask people not be judgemental about me having to rehome my babies, i am a vet nurse of 8 yrs and so my cats are very special to me and this is not easy, i dont really want to discuss my personal reasons for rehoming on a public forum, but will happily discuss privately to anyone who mya be interested in rehoming my beloved pussycats.
I WILL BE LOOKING FOR 5***** HOMES ONLY!!!!

SHEPPY: appox 2-3yrs male, now neutered. was entire male, stray when came into practice, so is a large boy, vacc, chipped etc, black and white, felix cat but bigger!. if anyone is interested i have to stress you have to be the type of owner who loves cuddles and can cope with a cat constantly demanding to be on your lap!!!!!!!!!!!! he is VERY AFFECTIONATE!!!

MONSTER: first i would like to say she no longer lives up to her name! she was from a litter of foster kittens i have 2 yrs ago, but no one wanted her as she was pretty wild, and was know as 'the little monster' so the name stuck! she is a black and white female, spayed etc. is very quiet but likes to curl up on the sofa next to you and have a fuss, she has very beautiful green eys and lovely markings. she has white bib and feet, and has a white cheek with a black spot on it!

SMOTYN: my baby of the bunch! 'smotyn' meaning 'spotted' in welsh as she is spotty! she is mainly white with green eyes, very pretty cat, but have black perfectly round spots on her back like dalmation! she loves to sloth around the house, and is a chatter!!! she is 2 yrs and one i hand reared also. spayed vacc chipped etc.

If anyone is interested or can help i would be most grateful and happy to give you my contact number via pm. i must say i do not want them to go to a rescue centre, i would like them to go to a home i have chosen as most suitable. SHEPPY would happily go by himself, id like to keep the girls together but i dont think they would be too bothered if the best individual homes were found.

thank you for reading, this is the hardest thing i have HAD to do, just want the best for them xxx

carly xxx

I voluntarily operated the SPCA for 12 years in a village I used to live in & know all about reluctant rehoming..... People just do not realise the value of sterilisation (before the first batch).... It is a fact, that consequative batches of just 1 litter per female will reproduce 174,000 cats in as little as 10 generations, which can happen in 4 or 5 years..... Where do they all go to??.... They land up at the SPCA & have to be put to sleep..... Be considerate.... Sterilise your pets.... (general comment)

just want to say as a vet nurse i understand that, and thats why they HAVE been neutered, this is nothing to do with overopulating, i took these cats in to add to my family, and have no choice.

pm replied!!!

Yea C@rly... I purposely added the (General Comment) at the end of my post to indicate that I'm not referring to your situation.....It's a noble thing you did, & personally I'm also just tempted to add more to my collection when I see all those ferrals & strays......

sorry to hear you are having a tough time right now .i have two already so i can't help but i hope you have them rehome soon.

I'm sorry you have to rehome your cats. I'd take them, but my mom and dad don't want another cat. You coul try one of your local pet stores. They might be willing to help.

advertise din local pet shops and in local vets, im absolutely gutted to do this but the longer its going on the harder its gettin to do it. :(
