Red Pair

Well, my Red Sox pulled through this year So I'm wondering if maybe this red pair can break the infertility curse that's been plaguing my fishroom the last few months

We're all conditioned up, and they are both in the spawn tank, she's vased and he's displaying

Here's the two of them, these are the fish I was worried about because she's bigger, you can see they're the same length, but the width is concerning

The reason I hate that girl, she killed my Wrigley in her last spawn attempt.

Well, opposite problem then anticipated I released the girl this afternoon because he has an awesome nest, and she's all stripy. She went straight under and did headstands under the cup and he attacked her I re-vased her after a couple hours because she was getting pretty shredded and just hiding in the plants. As soon as I vased her she flipped out again wanting out, but I'm not leaving either of these two alone overnight I'll let her out again in the morning

By the way, Wrigley from above...this is his sister, so maybe I can get some more Wrigleys

The male came over from Thailand, the female and Wrigley came from the IBC show I went to in Seattle

The spawn tank is pretty simple, it's a ten gallon filled halfway. It's heated to 82, and has live java fern and an assortment of silk plants in the corner. Then just the vase and the cup, that's it

I just re-released the girl, so they're just hanging out, not much more to tell for now
