Red / Gold Hm Spawn Diary - We Have Eggs!

Ok, here's a spawn diary im going to set up for daily updates. I've decided to test something, im gpoing to condition the 2 fish in 2 Litre bottles next to each other for 2 weeks (or whenever they seem "ready") and i will change the water EVERY day. (I have quite a few bottles so ill just transfer them every night and fill the other bottles up) I'll keep a record here of every day's events etc

Thank you geo im hoping to get a spawn again soon. After taking a bit of break from spawning while i sorted all my tanks out etc. But now i would like to aim to start a gold line

sounds like a plan keep us posted on how it goes, gold bettas would be gorgeous!

You can see which parent has the genes i want. Just hoping that some fry will be produced with very little gold. then maybe get a couple of golds from my supplier in germany etc. Or possible introduce a pure gold PK to the line and start a HMPK? then maybe a CT to that! to create a CTHMPK line! the possibilities are endless!

Male has started what seems to be the beginning of a bubblenest. Male flares and female sits and stares at him then he dances around and she tries to look then loses interest and swims off

Wow what a color combo eh? My spawn is gonna be 2 month old soon same color and tail type. My female has more red though. Anyways luck.

Edit: eww i meant 2 months geeze time goes by fast.

O.k so im starting to think it wasn't a bubblenest yesterday as nothing is left in the tank. Water changes again for them tonight as usual. Hope it goes well
