Hi, i have red cherry shrimp fry, they are with their parents and an assassin snail in 2.5 gallon tank. The water is kind of yellowish. The filter is cheap, im going to get a new one. there is wood and its well planted. also has bright light. They are getting older by the second and i'm wondering what am i going to feed them when they are a little bigger cause i know they eat the biofilm off plants when first born.

PS. i dont really want to mess with hatching brine shrimp. I dont want to go through the trouble. help is much appreciated!

They will eat whatever their adult parents eat. Maybe crush some shrimp pellets for them.

Crushed shrimp pellets and blanched vegetables once they reach approx 1cm you can start giving them meat in the form of cut up insects, earthworms, spiders, I find milipedes are a bit too well armoured but if cut up thoroughly will be picked out of there shells. You can also go to your lfs and get some bloodworms.
